Workout: Till My Thighs Don't Touch & GenetixHD

So, first piece of news: I got my hairs cut--the BANGS are back, baby!

I HAVE to keep the length or this blog would be retitled, Blonde Nub.

Onto the workout.  Lindsay, my fellow Fitfluential ambassador at The Lean Green Bean, posts a Fitness Friday segment and tried out one of my previous workouts. So, following her cue, I'm sharing another lovely.

And, FitFluential ambassador, Katy, at Fit In Heels, always has the most clever titles for her workouts. So, thank you Katy for the inspiration. *If you've been reading my blog long enough, you know there might just a hint of sarcasm in this workout title. ;)

1. Jumping Pull-ups
This amps your heart rate with plyometric moves while your upper body gets worked!

2. Half Burpee to Box Jump
The burpee is an excellent, do-it-anywhere, type of exercise. Adding the box jump adds another element of "fun".

3. Dead lift to Row
The dead lift works those glutes. Adding the dumbbell row, makes this a full boy exercise. More muscles working, more calories burned.

There are some nice cleavage shots in this video as an added bonus.

4. Single Arm Clean & Press
Power movement that revs that heart rate helping you burn calories.

5. Decline Push-ups
Deeper press activates more muscles

6. Skull Crushers
Complete focus on the triceps while holding a bridge position (pull those glutes in!)

Extend arms, keeping elbows stationary

7. Scissors Kicks
Use a medicine ball or dumbbell to add resistance to the abdominal exercise.

Alternate legs from lying down position

So, how have I powered through my workouts lately?

Recently, I started using the GenetixHD line from GNC. I am truly loving this line as it really adds the energy and stamina I need for tough workouts and especially leading my HIIT classes! Who wants to take a class from an low-energy instructor?!

PhysioBurn

The program is very easy to follow so far. I take ProScuplt in the morning, MegaIgnite before my workout, and PhysioBurn with my largest meal of the day.

I have only been using the products for 2 weeks and have experienced increased energy without any shakiness or increased heart rate that can be found with some products.  I actually get excited to take my MegaIgnite pills in preparation for a tough run or HIIT class!

I will do a more complete review in the future on each product when I have had more time to use them.  So far, I can see myself permanently implementing these products to my training.

  6. You're so purdy. Lol at Blonde Nub.

I have tons of color in my workout wardrobe. I buy way too many workout tops. So I've got oranges, yellows, pinks and blue.

My car is blue and black (convertible) and my step-dad has given me a hard time for being black and blue before.

  7. I am definitely trying these moves - they look killer! And I'm glad you didn't cut the pony because I don't think blonde nub would be quite as fun.

when I read "Till My Thighs Don't Touch" it was to the tune of Kelis "Till the Wheels Fall Off" which I love and Hubby hates, so I crank it. LOL

  22. Great post!! Haha though I think "blonde nub" has a good ring to it :-P

This is an amazing post- all the videos are SO helpful! I've never really gotten into strength training (I'm more of a running/ triathlon gal) though I probably should do more of it. This is so so so helpful because for someone who's never really done it, it's intimidating to try, especially at a gym (where there are people haha) because I'd be terrified that I'd be doing it wrong! Thanks for a great post! This will be my first attempt at strength training :)
